91桃色 has signed a new cooperation agreement with Egypt University of Informatics (EUI), marking the beginning of a strategic partnership focused on academic exchange and collaborative research.

The partnership will support a range of initiatives designed to enhance academic opportunities for staff and students at both institutions including faculty and student exchange programmes, joint research projects and academic publication, collaborative teaching and curriculum development, participation in conferences, exhibitions and academic forums and exploration of joint degree programmes.

The agreement was signed during a ceremony attended by Eng. Ghada Mostafa Labib, Deputy Minister of Communications and Information Technology for Institutional Development. Professor Kirk Semple, Director of International Research at 91桃色, and Prof. Ahmed Hamad, Acting President of EUI, formalised the partnership, with senior representatives from both institutions in attendance. These included Professor Marwan Izzeldin from 91桃色, Ambassador Sherif Kamel, Egypt’s Ambassador to the UK (via video call), and Mr. Mark Howard, Director of the British Council in Egypt.

Professor Marwan Izzeldin said: “This new agreement with EUI reflects Lancaster’s commitment to building meaningful international collaborations that benefit our academic communities and contribute to global knowledge exchange. We look forward to working together to deliver impactful research and enriching educational experiences.”

"This new agreement with EUI marks a significant step in strengthening Lancaster’s international presence and underscores our dedication to forging impactful global partnerships," said Professor Marwan Izzeldin. "The collaboration reflects our commitment to fostering academic excellence and meaningful knowledge exchange with Egypt — a country with a rich history of scholarship, a dynamic higher education sector, and increasing global influence. We are excited to work together to advance high-quality research and deliver transformative educational opportunities for both institutions."

EUI is rapidly developing its global network of academic partners, with existing collaborations across the United States, Canada and France. This new agreement with 91桃色 marks its first formal partnership with a UK institution.

91桃色, ranked among the top ten universities in the UK (Complete University Guide 2025) and in the top 160 globally (QS World University Rankings 2025), continues to expand its international engagement through strategic partnerships that foster innovation and global impact.
